Photos: Nova Scotia Trip 2007

Linda, Chris and Rachael took a ten-day vacation in September 2007—Rachael's longest time away from home ever to this point! The trip started out with two days at the Straits to participate in Chris & Linda's 16th annual (and consecutive) Mackinac Bridge Walk, which was also Rachael's second in her 15 months of life. Then two days were spent travelling through Ontario and Quebec to New Brunswick. Most of the trip occurred in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, before the family cut back through the States (and Ontario again) back home.

• Saturday, September 1 - heading up to the Straits (map)
• Sunday, September 2 - Eastern U.P., Cut River Bridge, Crisp Point Lighthouse (map)
• Monday, September 3 - Mackinac Bridge Walk, heading for Ottawa (map)
• Tuesday, September 4 - Ottawa, Ontario via Montreal and Quebec to Fredericton, New Brunswick. (map)

• Sunday, September 9 - Charlottetown, PEI, Cavendish (Anne of Green Gables), then across the Conefederation Bridge and on to St. Johns, New Brunswick. (map)
• Monday-Tuesday, September 10-11 - back home via Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Ontario and Michigan! (map)

This is a little website set up by Chris & Linda, Rachael's proud new parents, in response to repeated requests for photographs and the latest information on how Rachael is doing. As many of you know, Chris & Linda welcomed their daughter into the world six weeks early in late June, so the birth and first few weeks of Rachael's life have been a bit less than "usual."
